Applications for LDP 2026 are now available!

Important Details:

  • The program runs from January to December.
  • There is a yearly participation fee of $400. Scholarships are available. Sibling discount applied.
  • LDP meets in three locations around Atlanta once a month: Congregation B’nai Torah (CBT), The Temple (TT), and Temple Sinai (TS).
    • Schedule: CBT on Mondays & Tuesdays, TT on Tuesdays, and TS on Wednesdays.
  • Jewish teens may rank their preferred locations when applying. Capacity at all locations is limited and varies based on current grade.
    • 8th and 9th graders: All locations
    • 10th and 11th graders: The Temple only

Community Programs

LDP participants also get hands-on volunteer experience through our community programs, including:

•  GOAL programs, our buddy model programs that pair each participant with a teen volunteer.

•  CCC’s mid-size programs, Celebrations, that utilize a freestyle format. 

•  Festivals, our largest and loudest programs designed to promote community building.

•  Our first and now signature program, Amy’s Holiday Party

LDP Sessions

Each LDP session is facilitated by our young adult mentors and supported by CCC’s Experiential Education Director. These mentors work directly with the teens throughout the year to create a comfortable and relatable environment in which the teens can grow and learn.

These topics will be covered in the interactive and experiential education and program planning sessions:

  • Community building and Jewish leadership
  • Understanding mission and vision
  • Identifying community needs
  • Understanding families experiencing hardship and advocacy work
  • Empathy building
  • Jewish philanthropy
  • Applying fundraising skills & strategies to LDP’s Annual Fall Fundraiser
  • Program planning and implementation
