Creating Connected Communities is an Atlanta nonprofit dedicated to enhancing the lives of children experiencing hardship through community programming, while also empowering teens to become engaged community leaders and volunteers.
Creating Connected Communities is dedicated to meeting the needs of families from diverse ethnic, social, religious, and economic backgrounds. Our interactive programs engage all participants in actively learning and contributing to a diverse society through appreciation, acceptance, empathy and respect.
CCC’s Leadership Development Program engages Jewish teens in grades 8-12 in learning critical leadership skills, addressing social justice issues, developing their Jewish identities and implementing community-building programs with their peers.
“CCC is doing invaluable work and literally strengthening families!”
“In the 11 years that I’ve been at Mimosa Elementary, we’ve never had a Fall Festival. Yours was so well organized and fun!!! I truly wanted to say thank you for all the hard work of all the volunteers. You made so many of our families very happy!!!”
“Amy’s Holiday Party gives all of us a chance to forget about how difficult our lives are for just a few hours and enjoy time with our kids. We would never be able to provide them with the kind of gifts and experiences they get at this party. It is a dream come true and we are so thankful for all you do for us. We get to feel special and our kids get to feel normal on this day.”
Teen Bash was a smashing success!!! My son had a fantastic time. Thank you for the privilege of volunteering with CCC! He came home with the biggest smile. I really I want to thank CCC for making it such a rewarding experience.
I can’t even describe how much my daughter is getting out of this incredible program. She said tonight “mom, I love it so much” after today. She is so proud to be involved with such an important organization. This is the first leadership role she has taken and it has made her a more confident leader in other aspects of her life. She enjoys representing CCC out in the community, she really excels and wants to take part in the public speaking, and we know it will serve her well in the future. Thanks for giving her this opportunity!
