Mentor Program

LDP Mentor Program

CCC engages a group of Jewish young adults to serve as mentors in our teen Leadership Development Program. These mentors work directly with our teens to facilitate small group discussions and implement our unique curriculum. In 2025, CCC engaged 22 mentors, including six LDP alumni.

Mentor Training Workshop

CCC’s mentor training program provides professional development and skills training to equip mentors to implement our curriculum, tackle difficult topics, and maximize the impact they have on the teens in our program. Ultimately we seek to develop our mentors into strong Jewish leaders, as they are a key component to our Leadership Development Program’s mission of creating Jewish community leaders and volunteers.

CCC’s mentor training program includes:

  • Curriculum consultation utilizing specialists and guest speakers, including Repair the World
  • Technology tools, training videos, and online resources
  • Classroom management, role-modeling, and experiential learning techniques
  • Tools for discussion/activity facilitation and managing “tough topics”
  • Personal self-reflection, Jewish identity development, goal setting and team building among mentors
  • Community-building gatherings such as mentor Shabbat dinners or bagel brunches
