Thank you for your interest in joining Creating Connected Communities’ (CCC) Leadership Development Program (LDP), beginning in January 2026! CCC is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit whose mission is to bring life-enhancing programs to children experiencing hardship by empowering teens to become engaged community leaders and volunteers. CCC is committed to being an inclusive organization that represents diverse Jewish teens across Atlanta. LDP engages Jewish teens in grades 8–12 in leadership skill building at monthly sessions and hands-on volunteering at CCC outreach programs.


Application Process

  • Applications are accepted on a rolling basis until capacity is reached.
  • We recommend applying early to secure your spot.
  • You will hear from us starting in mid-November.
  • In December, we will confirm your spot with the official Welcome Form and program fee.

As of 11/21, the Temple Sinai location has reached capacity. We still have spots available at both B’nai Torah on Mondays and on Tuesdays. If you would like to be added to the waitlist for the Temple Sinai location, please email emily@cccprojects.org.

2026 Program Details & Logistics 

  • LDP runs calendar year, January-December 2026. There are no LDP sessions in June or July, but there are volunteer opportunities. 
  • There is an annual participation fee of $400 with scholarships available and sibling discounts applied. 
  • LDP sessions are held roughly once a month at the location you apply for: B’nai Torah on Mondays, The Temple on Tuesdays, B’nai Torah on Tuesdays, and Temple Sinai on Wednesdays. 


Eligibility:

Jewish teens may rank their preferred locations on the application. Capacity is limited and based on grade: 

8th & 9th graders: All locations 

10th & 11th graders: The Temple only 

 

January-December 2026 Participation Expectations 

To be invited to re-register the following year we ask that teens: 

  • Attend at least 5 of 8 sessions by early November 2026 
  • Volunteer at or register for at least 3 programs by early November 2026 (Programs in November–December count toward this requirement) 

Please note: Participation in 2025 CCC programs, including Amy’s Holiday Party, does not count toward 2026 requirements. 

Each teen will receive a status update in May and October. Teens who meet these attendance expectations or who communicate with us in advance about conflicts will be invited to re-register.
