Thank you for your interest in applying to our LDP Teen Executive Board! You have been invited to apply because you have exceeded the minimum participation requirements and have demonstrated exceptional leadership skills.
A current board position does not guarantee a 2025 board position.
We are so excited for another amazing year of LDP, and with your help, it’s going to be the best one yet! Our LDP teen board gives you a great opportunity to be a role model and leader in the program. We are looking for teens who have a passion for our mission, can lead by example, and want to elevate their participation in CCC.
Please be thoughtful in your responses. Decisions for this year will be based on your answers, demonstrated leadership, location preferences, total attendance at sessions and programs, and graduation year and/or track.
Board Member Time Commitment:
Teen board members commit to:
- Attending the minimum sessions and programs in 2025.
- Supporting CCC by raising money during the Annual Teen Fall Fundraiser.
- Completing responsibilities and attending any additional trainings, programs, and/or events.
- Attending LDP board meetings in January and August.

Types of roles on the teen board:
- President (1 per location)
- Vice President
- Teen Engagement
- Community Engagement
Note: * denotes this requires time outside of sessions and programs.
What you’ll do as an LDP President:
- Sit with and lead your team in discussions and activities at the start of each session.
- Assist the Education Director in leading LDP sessions by sharing announcements and relevant content during the introduction.
- *Attend a CCC board meeting to present about LDP.
- Along with the Vice President, greet teens at the door at LDP sessions.
- *Lead a component of the LDP board meetings.
- *Represent CCC in the community when needed.
- Send and sign off on emails to LDP teens under the direction of the Education Director.
What you’ll do as a Vice President:
- Sit with and lead your team in discussions and activities at the start of each session.
- Greet teens at the door at LDP sessions.
- Attend LDP board meetings and take notes at the meeting to send out to your location’s board.
- *Represent CCC in the community when needed.
- *Oversee a committee(s) and help lead committee meetings.
What you’ll do as a Community Engagement board member:
- Sit with and lead your team in discussions and activities at the start of each session.
- *Represent CCC in the community by attending fairs, expos, and speaking engagements as these opportunities are available.
- Invite CCC to speak at your synagogue, youth group, school, leadership program, etc.
What you’ll do as a Teen Engagement Board member:
- Sit with and lead your team in discussions and activities at the start of each session.
- Help brainstorm and facilitate icebreakers/challenges at sessions.
- Be outgoing and friendly to help ensure teens feel welcome at programs.
- Directly engage teens in conversations, invite them to sit with you, and monitor the room to see if anyone needs help navigating the social dynamics and feels welcome at sessions.
